HART protocol
1. HART is a hybrid analog + digital protocol. It superimposes an FSK digital signal onto a traditional 4-20mA two-wire current loop, with both utilizing
2. -20mA is a DC analog signal; HART is a 1200/2200Hz AC FSK digital signal superimposed on top. The AC average is 0, so they do not interfere with each other. A typical PLC 4-20mA analog input card can only read the DC 4-20mA signal and cannot read the HART digital parameters, directly filtering out the high-frequency HART signal as noise.
3. HART requires signal conversion via a HART modem. Wiring: Connect in parallel across the two ends of the 4-20mA loop, regardless of positive or negative. It does not need to be connected in series and will not affect normal PLC communication.
The workstation's four regulation segments can operate independently.
