Hybrid and electric vehicles: Training systems for automotive training
The training system for electric vehicles is ideally suited for the training of mechatronic engineers in motor vehicles of all disciplines, of course also in the field of"systems and high-voltage technology". The training system can also be used very well for the training of technicians, captains and engineers.
Since vehicle electronics were largely harmless in the past, it is now necessary to raise awareness of dangerous live voltages and new safety measures and procedures must be communicated in a targeted manner.
This places new demands on craftsmen, automotive mechatronic engineers and educators in the field of electric mobility. The challenge is to have to work with voltages under realistic conditions while still ensuring that the trainer is as safe as possible in the classroom.
For this purpose a trainer has been developed that can be used practically to practice disconnecting an electric vehicle from the power supply. The device is suitable for demonstrations by trainers/instructors as well as for actual professional practice by trainees/students. Technical service companies (e.g. ADAC), testing centres (TUV, Dekra), rescue workers (fire department, THW), or users can also benefit from this training concept by using it to prepare their professional staff for this innovative segment of the automotive technology market.
